The FAQ contains answers to common questions within the group, you're question may be already answered here too! Be sure to check it out before asking a question!
Group
Question: Can we make/sell Mormorian designs or pet designs? Answer: No! Only mods have the ability to make and sell group adopts.
Question: Can we commission people to draw our Mormorians? Does it count for EXP? Answer: Yes, you can get commissions from people! But no, it only counts for EXP if you draw it yourself. So commissioned works do not count for EXP.
Question: Can we do collabs? How do they work? Answer: Yes you may do collabs! However, only one person can submit the image to the group and count it for EXP.
Question: Can I change accounts and keep my Mormorians? Answer: No, you may not! Many aspects of the group are tied directly to your account, not your characters themselves. Therefore, you cannot change accounts and keep your Mormorians, EXP/Gold counts, or any bank items you may have.
Question: Can we do traditional art? Does it have to be lined? Answer: Traditional art is allowed! Just make sure you either scan it or take a photo of it in a well lit room so the colours show well. Lines help make the drawing clearer, but depending on the artist, lines aren't necessary (as long as it's clear what's going on it's alright with us!).
Question: What counts as an animation? Answer: Animations that don't have unique frames are considered simple, and therefore only give a bonus of 1 EXP. Glowing, blinking, and bouncing all count as simple. More complex animations such as walk cycles, tail wags, etc, can count as their own 'full drawing' per frame. Therefore, a fullbody coloured walk cycle that has 7 frames, will count 7 times the EXP!
Question: Can I make a reference sheet for my Mormorian? Answer: Of course!
Question: What's my Mormorian's birthday? Can it be different than their hatch date? Answer: Their birthday can be anytime you want! Their hatch day is just the date that matters for group stuff, such as checking ages.
Question: Can we have 'dark plots' with our characters? Such as incest, killing, torture, cannibalism, etc? Answer: Well...your characters, you can write whatever stories you want with them. HOWEVER, please refrain from discussing plots containing these sensitive topics in public spaces, and do not submit art containing these plots to the group. Please, keep them to yourselves and your friend groups. This group is not here to promote such things, and we do not want new members (or people on the outside looking in) to get the wrong idea.
Anatomy
Question: Do Bouiboa's always have two sets of ears? Even with ear upgrades? Answer: Yes! Bouiboa's will always have two sets of ears. When applying ear upgrades, the second set will be a smaller version of the other pair.
Question: Can a Moukii's 'fang' be broken off? Answer: The 'fang' is a growth on the jaw bone, which means it will hurt quite a bit to have it broken off, but yes. At least one fang must remain however, as they need to still look like a Moukii.
World/Lore
Question: What 'era' of clothing can I give my Mormorian? Answer: Anything from medieval to modern human clothing, they wear what they want with little judgement!
Question: What colour can I make my Bouiboa's 'ear tie'? Can I remove it? Answer: Any colour you want! It just must be distinguishable from the rest of it's design! You cannot remove the ear tie from the babies, but there is an adult upgrade that allows you to remove it with a relatively low EXP requirement. Question: Can I make a personal NPC for story reasons? Question: Can my Mormorian be blind/deaf/mute without the mutation if they have an injury? Answer: No, they cannot be blind, deaf or mute without being born with the mutation, even with injuries.
Question: Does having a mutated parent affect the breeding? Answer: Yes! Having at least one parent in a breeding with a mutation significantly increases the odds of the offspring having a mutation as well. The mutation a baby can get may not be the same as the parents however.

Question: How do I enter a match? Answer: To create/enter a match, you must first find an opponent. This should be done in private or in the group discord's channel: Battle-Search, and NOT in the comments of this journal. Once you've found a partner, drawing/write up an art piece depicting the battle. You may NOT depict your opponent being killed. The piece must follow the requirements detailed on guide linked above. Then, fill out the form listed down below and leave a comment on this journal, where the second player must reply and confirm the match. A mod will calculate the match and determine a winner.
Question: My Mormorian doesn't know any magic...can I still enter? Answer: Yes! You may enter a match even if you have no magic. However, you will be at a severe disadvantage against a foe who does have magic.
Question: Can there be more than two competitors per match? Answer: No, there can only be two people per VS match
Question: Are ties a thing? Answer: Yes! It is rare however, for although two Mormorians may be even matched, a small bit of RNG is factored into the score, which can shift a match.
Question: Can I depict my Mormorian using weapons? Answer: Yep! No firearms or bombs (as they don't exist in the world of Mormorium). Since the Colosseum is mostly for magic fights however...it is not exactly recommended (unless your Mormorian knows no magic).

You can find the featured magic on the group home page under the group status. It changes every two weeks until it cycles back through the eight magics.
Question: My Mormorian knows an advanced magic, what do I put in the "number of" sections of the form? Answer: If your Mormorian has mastered an advanced magic, they had to have mastered the intermediate and basic as well. Therefore, if they have mastered one advanced magic, they will also have one intermediate and one basic!
Question: Help! My Opponent is Over-Powered! Answer: Mods are not in charge of deciding if a match is fair, that is up to you. Be sure to know what magics both your Mormorian as well as your opponent's know as most of the scoring comes down to those. Try to seek out opponents who close to your Mormorian's current magic mastery if you want it to be a closer match. Do not confirm a match if you find it unfair. Simple as that!

Question: How do we count EXP on collabs? Answer: Collaborations only count for EXP, for the person that posts the image. It can only be posted by one person (it's up to the collab participants to decide who) to prevent spam and repeat images in the group.

Question: Is there a max amount of EXP we can earn? Answer: The max amount is 1000.

You can get a mount by buying a mount ticket from the shop. Like the pets, you can choose the species (from the official list anyway)!
Question: Who is the pet's owner? Is it me? Answer: Well, technically, your account does own the pet/mount design. But for gameplay purposes, they belong to one of your Mormorians!
Question: What are pet shows? How do they work? Answer: Pet shows are a bonus activity that occur every three months. Only Mormorians with pets/mounts can enter them. They are like small scale art contests, where the contestants must draw their pets/mounts with their owner (their Mormorian.) More info can be found here: Pets and Mounts
Question: What is PXP? How can I get it? Does it ever deplete? Answer: PXP is the equivalent of EXP, but for pets and mounts! It is earned by drawing your pet/mount with their owner. They can level up with more PXP. When they level up, they do not lose any PXP, it is also like a tally system, much like EXP.
Question: How do we design our pets and mounts? Answer: Each pet/mount species has their own guide to their designs as well as the traits they can have. A detailed guide on each pet can be found under the pets section of the lore page.
Question: How many pets/mounts can we have? Is it unlimited? Answer: Yes! You can have as many pets/mounts as you want as long as you buy the right tickets.
Question: Will pet breeding ever be a thing? Answer: No, such a feature has been deemed to have little to no-function in this group.
